The main purpose of the role is to provide Level 2 technical support for a spectrum of COTS software application suite used within the Oil & Gas sector. You will be responding to Level 2 technical problems that require immediate solutions and provide Tier 2 technical support to internal teams and external stakeholders, assisting with new systems integration, database management and application management.


As an Application Support Engineer, you will need to provide a high level of customer service and technical support for existing programs and applications to customers and other team members, engaging with key stakeholders, both internal and external. You will have to manage ticketed query system and ensure a comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is up to date, assisting with systems integrations and updating technical documents and procedures.


The successful Application Support Engineer will need to have both technical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills, possessing good knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software and the ability to diagnose and address application issue.
