The main purpose of the role is to work closely with internal software development teams and business stakeholders to create and configure SharePoint websites, finding solutions to enhance business activity and customising sites based on the client’s requirements. You will be providing technical support for a spectrum of SharePoint application suite used within the Oil & Gas sector. You will carry out a wide variety of duties, including creating user interface applications, managing and modifying SharePoint websites to ensure they are fit for purpose and solve technical issues.


As a SharePoint Support Engineer, you will need to provide a high-level of customer service and technical support for existing applications, engaging with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

You will need to have both technical SharePoint knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills, possessing good knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software and the ability to diagnose and address application issue.


The successful SharePoint Support Engineer will need to have an aptitude for computers and using software, as well as good interpersonal skills and the ability to spot errors that others may overlook.


  • Excellent experience of managing SharePoint websites
  • SharePoint On-Prem & SharePoint Online/Office 365
  • Power Apps, Azure and other cloud-based technologies
  • Experience of working within ITIL processes and procedures
  • Good working knowledge of IT Software and Hardware
  • Knowledge of operating systems, devices, applications and software
