As a proudly international company leading the software-development industry across Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, the UK and Dubai, Amdaris has been shocked and saddened by the horrifying recent attack on Ukraine.
At the outbreak of the conflict, they immediately and safely evacuated all of their Odesa team who wanted to leave Ukraine, as well as their families, relocating them and the projects they were working on to Amdaris’ other delivery centres.
Amdaris has been blown away by the resilience of their Ukrainian team during this incredibly difficult time and by the kindness of other Amdarians who have united to offer support and shelter.
Amdaris are committed to returning to Ukraine in the future to help its people grow back the economy by rebuilding the country’s thriving software-development sector.
In the meantime, Amdaris has made the following two pledges of support to the technology community:
- We are offering secure employment for any software developer, QA, project manager, or anyone with any other relevant tech skills, who has been forced to leave Ukraine. If this is you, please get in touch with us by emailing us as (ask@amdaris.com). We will help you and your family find safety and security and once circumstances allow, you can choose to return to your previous employer, you have no obligation to continue working at Amdaris.
- We are providing both short-term and long-term support to anyone needing an emergency alternative supplier. Moreover, if you were previously working with a Ukrainian supplier who is not able to function, we can guarantee job security for the developers in order to help them get back to work. Amdaris will ensure fast onboarding and smooth collaborations to help resume your projects with as little disruption as possible.
Amdaris is also collaborating with Moldova Innovation Technology Park on an IT-job database to assist technology professionals who are looking for new roles. The Business Directory will include a collection of job opportunities across Moldova in the IT sector and other fields, in order to help as many people as possible find work.
Petru Haheu, Centre Director in Moldova, commented: “Amdaris’ business decisions are always based on demonstrating respect to people, to communities and integrity. The Moldova IT Career Centre aims to bring new opportunities to both individuals and businesses. We believe that exceptional talent is just one click away from this platform. Republic of Moldova, Moldova Innovation Technology Park, businesses and individuals will all benefit from this initiative.”
Everyone across Amdaris’ global delivery centres dearly hopes that peace will be re-established soon. Until then, and for the future, Amdaris are standing by Ukraine.
