Andy Rogers and Vlad Nanu, co-CEOs of Bristol-based software developer and digital transformation specialist Amdaris, have been named in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2021.
The programme, which is supported by The Times and now in its fourth year, celebrates the inspiring leaders behind some of the UK’s most successful and fast-growing medium-sized firms.
Despite the challenges of the last 18 months, the Top 50 received a record number of nominations, with more than 600 proving that ambition is alive and well.
The featured Top 50 hail from every corner of the country and operate across a diverse range of sectors. Collectively, they employ more than 9,500 people and contribute more than £1.2bn to the UK economy.
Amdaris is a Bristol-based company that delivers innovative Software Development, Application Support Managed Services, and Consultancy Services from their HQ in the UK and delivery centres in Eastern Europe, and is backed by BGF.
Providing digital transformation services to companies large and small around the world, the company now has offices in five countries: the UK, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and the UAE, with a 6th office opening in Bulgaria in 2022.
Andy Rogers, co-CEO of Amdaris, said: “Firstly, a huge congratulations to our fellow business leaders in the list, we’re honoured to feature alongside such great people. Our vision is to build a business with an outstanding reputation around the world built on our exceptional service to our clients. It’s a great recognition that as co-CEOs we have been included in the LDC Top 50 and a testament to the hard work and fantastic clients who have partnered with us on this journey”.
“Fellow co-CEO Vlad Nanu commented: “I was thrilled to hear that we had been put forward for this award. The recognition for this award truly should go to our team; we have an exceptional team who are dedicated and care about every project they deliver. We wouldn’t be in a position to grow at pace without the right team behind us.”
LDC’s John Garner added: “The last 18 months have presented challenges that none of us could have foreseen, but despite everything, it’s fantastic to see that so many business leaders have achieved remarkable things. Through their resourcefulness and resilience, this year’s Top 50 Most Ambitious Leaders prove that the flame of ambition is hard to extinguish. Congratulations to all those featured and we look forward to seeing their continued success and impact, and contribution to the broader UK economy.
