CASE STUDY: PEARSON

PEARSON’S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION FROM PAPER AUDITS AND MANUAL UPLOADS

Building a learning platform used by 60,000 students a year

BUSINESS NEEDS

Growing importance of the test taker as a customer

Pearson faced a fragmented approach to delivering digital assessment: product silos, data silos, multiple journeys and pricing models.

The assessments themselves needed a refresh, due to depleted item banks, complex test constructs, and score constraints. Growing importance of the test taker as a customer required the ability to access learning outcomes, plan remediation and purchase materials.

OUR SOLUTION

Single gateway to all major proficiency products with consistent and simple licensing model

Our team has deployed a proficiency portal to all major products in order to support client’s main requirement. We implemented a single user account across multiple products and institutions, allowing simple approach to entitlements.

Institutions purchase only what they need and top up as required, enabling test takers to access resources and view outcomes. This will increasingly cater for self-purchasing and self-managing test takers.
