TECHNICAL DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Taking initiative and working under broad direction, the Technical Director performs an extensive range of complex technical and professional activities. You’ll undertake work requiring a range of skills and principles in a variety of contexts and situations. You’ll advise your teams on the best standards, methods, tools and applications.
You’ll make the most of the relationship between your role and wider customer and organisational requirements. You’ll have significant influence over the allocation and management of resources and maintain an awareness of industry developments, trends and new technologies. By continuously developing your understanding of the business, you’ll help define the technical standards of Amdaris and ensure your teams stay on the cutting edge.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrates leadership in all aspects of work
- Communicates effectively, both formally and informally
- Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders with diverse objectives
- Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets
- Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement
- Demonstrates creativity, innovation, and ethical thinking in creating solutions
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Works seamlessly across all levels in Amdaris
- Ability to influence delivery across the organisation, including customers, suppliers, partners and peers
- Experience in leading user/customer collaboration throughout all stages of work
- Demonstrable experience in the successful management, technical resource efficiency and sound delivery of multiple concurrent IT projects and services
- Good knowledge of generic software development project life cycle processes in line with industry best practice
- Driven to achieve results and continuous improvement
