TEST LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES

The main purpose of the role is to shape products, directly impacting the solution and being an expert, influencing the development opportunities for our projects.

As a Test Lead, you will work with cross-functional teams to test new web products and features, as well as collaborate with developers and internal teams on product development.

The successful Test Lead must keep up with emerging technologies, supervise the activities of less experienced team members or other colleagues to maintain operational feasibility through analysis, problem definition, solution development, and propose a solution.

Key responsibilities:

You will lead the test activities required to demonstrate compliance to requirements for complex systems involving software.
You will be responsible for working with SME’s to facilitate the design and development of tests to verify / validate functionality.
You will capture, report and support the analysis of system non-conformities.
An opportunity to help shape the design and architecture as the system matures.
Supporting system software updates, and deployment activities.

TEST LEAD REQUIREMENTS

Familiarity with V-model and importance of testing against requirements.
Proven experience of leading Functional Testing activities: running and managing appropriate tests to ensure requirements are met.
Proven experience of leading Non-Functional Testing activities: analysing changes to a product and/or service.
Ability to identify, research and implement effective testing techniques and tools.
Communicating issues and defects to stakeholders.
Experience of Integration testing. Specifically designing appropriate, risk based, end to end system integration tests.
Exposure to Continuous Integration and deployment as part of a software release process.
Creation and maintenance of automated tests.
You must be able to obtain SC Clearance.
