Amdaris has been building remote, dedicated software development teams since it first opened its doors in 2009. Delivering first-class projects (or augmenting a customers’ team capabilities) without face-to-face contact is something we do every day.
Amdaris technical teams are made up of talented individuals, male and female, young and old, with a sense of purpose. Their goal, whatever the project, is to deliver beautiful software of the highest quality.
By harnessing the wide range of skills and experience of its people, Amdaris has become a trusted technical partner for clients all around the world. Here are five principles we follow which make delivering beautiful software remotely possible.
Onboarding and Knowledge Transfer
Building a new relationship is just like building a house. We ensure that strong and stable foundations are there from the very start. If the focus is only on cost, the on-boarding phase (which is key to de-risking a project and a condition for a successful delivery) can easily be overlooked.
Amdaris’ “onboarding” and knowledge transfer is a comprehensive and transparent process, which is performed at the start of any new client engagement. In 90% of cases it is conducted remotely through video conferences.
Collaborative Relationship Management
At Amdaris we work under the guidance and leadership of our customers, and we align early to understand our customers’ business objectives. These include: priorities, deadlines, outputs and status.
We are not simply followers, however. We adapt at every step of an engagement to offer the technical expertise that best addresses our customers’ interests, openly and respectfully. We like to say that we fuse with our customers both at a technical and at a personal level.
Mastery
Amdaris masters common software delivery methodologies. Whatever the method, we always adjust to our customers’ regular touch points for efficient interaction and communication between the various members of the team. We run remote sessions with our customers using standard workplace collaboration platforms, on a weekly basis, a daily basis, or whenever it is needed.
Amdaris Proprietary Health Index
The Amdaris Proprietary Health Index (APHI) is a platform for identifying enhancements in the software development lifecycle and communicating results to Amdaris clients.
The APHI provides an independent evaluation of the state of every project run by Amdaris. It also identifies possible risk factors within a project and helps handle them in a proactive manner.
Documentation and Testing
Quality is of paramount importance at Amdaris. Authoring technical documents or code and applying a well-defined testing strategy guarantee that the developed products are robust, reliable, user friendly and defect free.
We meet our quality objectives by consistently delivering working software, meeting customer requirements, controlling and improving product quality as well as reducing ongoing maintenance effort and total cost of ownership.
Trust, transparency, best practice and technical expertise is how we keep our customers satisfied, even when we are not physically able to sit in the same office. Our development teams work from near-shore locations in Moldova or Romania, but for our customers they might as well be next door.
