We are excited to be hosting the first in a series of breakfast briefings in partnership with Boatman Admin Services.
We will welcome talented speakers who will give insight into the impact innovative technologies are having within the blockchain sphere. We will also be providing some food, teas and coffees to fuel you for the day ahead, as well as some light networking opportunities to meet like-minded professionals.
We’re are lucky to have Ben Rees and Kevin Basham, founders of Cosound; a cutting-edge social media platform, which houses a peer-to-peer marketplace for the music industry. The grand vision for the platform is a desire to become a new age record label, offering advances and micro-advances to musicians, management companies and labels through the platform.
We will also have speakers from TokenMarket and DOVU, who are currently working in partnership on one of the UK’s first regulated security token offerings or tokenised equity fund raisers.

About the speakers and talks
Ben Rees and Kevin Basham, founders of Cosound
Ben and Kevin both have the same show-stopping enthusiasm for ideation, as founders, entrepreneurs and innovators.
Kevin’s professional background stems from years of business development and investment experience. His ability to grow business from start-up to seven figure revenues is teamed with a steadfast understanding of industry expertise; including a wealth of knowledge in blockchain and crypto.
As Chief Executive of The Famous Company, Ben’s experience within music combined with a passion for design and creative approaches means he is perfectly poised to revolutionise the music industry with Cosound.
Founded by Ben and Kevin, Cosound is a cutting-edge social media platform, which houses a peer-to-peer marketplace for the music industry. The grand vision for the platform is a desire to become a new age record label, offering advances and micro-advances to musicians, management companies and labels through the platform.
The pair also host what has been hailed the UK’s number one cryptocurrency and blockchain podcast, Cryptopulse. The interviews featured on the podcast empowers listeners to make decisions based on knowledge, tactics and tips from the experts.
Ryan Hanley, Vice President of Business Development at TokenMarket
In September 2018, TokenMarket received confirmation that it would join cohort 4 of the FCA Regulatory Sandbox to test and measure the implementation and the practice of tokenising equity in the UK. They are working alongside fellow presenters, DOVU, on one of the UK’s first regulated security token offerings or tokenised equity fund raisers.
TokenMarket will provide insight and use cases on how tokenisation can be delivered. They will also address how the market – as a whole – needs to evolve in order to be a success in 2019. This new asset class, kept solely on the blockchain, will allow investors to bring their shares in a company into the 21st Century.
Irfon Watkins, CEO and Founder of DOVU
DOVU is blockchain powered mobility. You can earn DOV tokens for sharing your mobility data or making small but important changes to your travel behaviour. You can spend your earned tokens or even create your own tokenised mobility service with seamless peer-to-peer transfers between DOVU wallets.
DOVU will be one of the first companies in the UK to allow individuals to purchase tokenised equity in their company via one of the first FCA regulated security token offerings (STOs). They will do this with the help of TokenMarket, who they chose to host and manage this sale, as they are well-known global market leaders in the field.
Through their STO, they will pave the way in experimenting with tokenisation, allowing individuals to purchase tokenised equity in business.
